Ensuring that your instrument and case are properly humidified before using the Humidipak Maintain System is essential in order to receive the maximum benefits and longevity of the product. The D'Addario Humidipak Restore Kit allows you to safely restore an instrument and case that is in a known dry condition or has previously not been humidified to the proper humidity level without any danger of over humidification.

Ideal For: Acoustic Guitar, Acoustic/Electric Guitar

Let's not forget that the guitar is a tree, so if you have this instrument and want to properly care for it, you need to understand how the wrong level of humidity can affect it. The right level of humidity for your acoustic guitar is from 45% to 55%, and the ideal - 50%. Acoustic guitars are most affected by humidity and temperature, as they are made from extremely thin sheets of wood, which are supported by glue at the same time. These (mainly organic) substances are sensitive to extreme moisture conditions.

Solidbody electric guitars are usually less susceptible to weather conditions, as they are made of thick wood panels and are more often considered screws and similar methods of support. But this does not mean that the owners of electric guitars should forget about this, they also need to pay attention to the level of humidity of the instrument.

A few signs that betray that your guitar lacks moisture, or it is too much:

- elevated strings, which are much more difficult to play, or even hurt

- changed, muffled, no longer active sound (although this may also be a sign of old strings, which it would be time to change)

- incorrect bending angle

- excessively curved top of the shell, or bottom

-Crack

- finishing carpet

- glue that has begun to diverge

- cracks that appear in the body of the guitar

To avoid all this - take care of the proper level of humidity of your instrument. Trust this concern to D'Addario Humidipak, thanks to which it has never been so easy to keep your instrument safe and playable. No more dripping sponges or manual adjustment. Just put the irrigation packages with the accompanying bags in the instrument tray, close the lid and relax knowing that your instrument is safe and in reliable hands.

Automatic humidity control system

The D'Addario Humidipak is the only unattended, two-way guitar moisture control system. It automatically maintains an optimal level of relative humidity of 45-50% in the body of your device, and eliminates doubts and possible clutter associated with the addition of a humidifier. There is no need to adjust the humidity level manually, taking into account seasonal changes, geographical location, temperature or other factors.

Please note: Humidipak is designed to restore and maintain humidity in the device. This product is not intended for dehumidification of air in conditions of high humidity. If your device has not previously been irrigated or is in a dry state, it is recommended to use Humidipak Restore to safely restore the correct level of humidity of the instrument, before using the Humidipak Maintain system. If the use of a moisture retention package on a dry instrument or tray - this will greatly reduce the service life of the package
