"Tamsta" was founded in 1992. The main products sold include various musical instruments (guitars/basses, drums, keyboards, accordions, wind instruments) and professional audio equipment (speakers, mixing consoles, amplifiers, microphones, headphones, sound cards), as well as professional lighting technology (spotlights, dimmers, lighting consoles, heads, scanners). Tamsta has agreements with over 100 suppliers and manufacturers from around the world, and most of these are exclusive distribution rights. Tamsta stores can be found in Vilnius at Strazdelio 1 and Konstitucijos 12; in Kaunas at Kęstučio 6a; and in Klaipėda at Ligoninės 16. Other areas of activity include audio and lighting equipment installations and the live music club "Tamsta."
